Our Story
Sugar POP Sweets began as a passion project in South Florida. I've enjoyed baking for over a decade, however, over the past three years, I have transformed my love for baking into a beloved local business, offering delightful custom cakes and more.

Policy (please read carefully before ordering!)
Small Baking Business Policy Sheet
Thank you so much for supporting Sugar POP Sweets! I truly appreciate every order and aim to make the process simple, friendly, and enjoyable.
Plain‑English Summary (The Quick Version)
- A 20% non‑refundable deposit holds your date and covers ingredients.
- I’ll send you photos the night before your event so you can review your order.
- If something is off, I’ll fix it when possible or make it right with a refund.
- Inspiration photos are welcome, but exact replicas (especially AI‑generated images) aren’t guaranteed.
- Everything is homemade, so small variations are normal.
1. Ordering Policy
- All orders must be placed a minimum of 7 days in advance.
- For weddings, large events, or custom designs, please allow 2–4 weeks notice.
- Orders are not considered confirmed until the required deposit is paid.
2. Deposit Requirements
- A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total order cost is required at the time of booking.
- This deposit helps cover the cost of materials and secures your date.
- No materials will be purchased and no work will begin until the deposit is received.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before pickup or delivery.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
- Deposits are non‑refundable.
- Orders cancelled more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery may receive a partial refund of the balance paid (excluding the deposit).
- Orders cancelled within 72 hours of pickup/delivery are non‑refundable due to preparation time and perishable ingredients.
4. Changes to Orders
- I want you to absolutely love your order. I send photos the night before pickup or delivery so you can see the final product.
- If you need any small adjustments after seeing the photo, please let me know right away. Any reasonable changes will be handled prior to the time of the event whenever possible.
- Design, quantity, and flavor changes requested earlier than 5 days before the event are usually easy to accommodate.
- Late changes may not always be possible, and some may affect pricing.
5. Pickup & Delivery
- Pickup times will be scheduled in advance. Late arrivals beyond a 15‑minute window may require rescheduling.
- Delivery is available within a defined service area for an additional fee.
- Once orders leave my possession (pickup or delivery), I am not responsible for damage caused by handling, transport, or storage.
6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions (Florida Cottage Food Notice)
- All baked goods are produced by Sugar POP Sweets in a home kitchen not inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, as permitted under Florida Cottage Food Law.
- This kitchen may process common allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten, and soy.
- While every effort is made to reduce cross-contact, cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.
- Customers are responsible for disclosing any allergies or dietary concerns when ordering.
7. Quality, Design & Refunds
- Your satisfaction is very important to me. If there is an error on my part, such as an issue with flavor or filling, I will issue an appropriate refund.
- If a design element does not meet expectations, I will gladly correct it when possible. If a correction cannot be made, a partial refund will be issued.
- I am unable to recreate images that are AI-generated. Inspiration photos are always welcome and will be recreated to the best of my ability, but exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
- All products are made by hand, and slight variations in color, texture, or decoration are natural and part of the handmade process.
8. Storage & Care Instructions
- Cakes: Refrigerate if not served within 2 hours. Bring to room temperature before serving.
- Cupcakes, cookies, and pastries: Store in a cool area away from direct heat.
- Improper storage may affect taste and structural integrity.
9. Payment Methods
- Accepted forms of payment include: Cash, card, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or other methods as stated at checkout.
- Full payment must be completed before pickup or delivery.
10. Photos & Social Media
- I love sharing my work and may occasionally post photos or videos of finished orders on social media or my website.
- No personal information will ever be shared.
- If you prefer your order not be posted, please let me know at the time of booking.
11. Agreement
- By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all policies stated above.
